I am a highly skilled, dedicated and adaptable Country / Operations/ Security Manager with experience of working in very challenging environments, including the Middle East, Eastern Europe and Africa.
I am vastly experienced in managing very demanding clients including, International Oil and Gas Companies, Governmental Departments, Banking Customers and in environments where meeting time critical deadlines, budgets and delivering high standards of service have been essential. I have an excellent track record of delivering under difficult circumstances and building client confidence, which has been critical and demonstrates my ability to quickly understand business and service needs. I greatly value the importance of building trusting relationships and ensuring risk, including reputational risk, is carefully managed both in terms of my clients and that of the organisations I have worked in.
Throughout my career, I believe I have been able to inspire, motivate and successfully lead teams, setting myself and others high standards is fundamental in my style and approach to work. I have been in and led many varied and diverse teams, often needing to demonstrate flexibility and the ability to adapt to changing environments, cultures and circumstances.
I have currently just left Aggreko, one of the leading global power rental companies where I had in-country operational responsibility and was the key interface for clients in all aspects of delivery, product sales, commercial management, logistics, projects, contractor management, staff safety and general security.

Aggreko Middle East – Area / Country Manager Iraq and Kurdistan Regions
Period: Dec 2012 to December 2013
• Responsibilities
Promoted into the role, reporting to the Area General Manager of Aggreko ME, I was based in Iraq and accountable for all power projects, sales, commercial management, staff safety and security for all Aggreko operations across Iraq and Kurdistan. I was managing 8 projects in various locations producing a total of 120 Mega Watt of power supporting the Oil and Gas sector which were being serviced by 88 engineers. These were coordinated by me and my staff located in my offices in Basra Iraq and in Erbil Kurdistan.
My role provided the main point of contact for clients and I managed their engagement, communication and ensured appropriate levels of collaboration to delivery high levels of service and operational excellence. These included 7 large International oil & Gas companies and 1 Iraqi governmental client.
• Contract Management
Ensured client contracts were delivered to the very highest of service levels, within time and on budget. Key responsibilities included the auditing of performance, operational excellence and measuring the delivery of service / projects across the portfolio, including the on-going development to ensure the standard and effective operating procedures are robust for both clients and 94 in-country Aggreko employees.
• Budget Management
With full P&L responsibility of $30m, including the planning, forecasting, implementation, management and reporting of cost performance to ensure delivery is within agreed expenditure limits and profitability targets.
• Key Achievements to date:
o By Q3, I delivered increased revenue of $15m / 50% in Iraq
o Successfully launched a new operation in Erbil, Kurdistan, including new offices, secure yards, accommodation and the deployment of a $500,000 power project.

Aggreko Middle East – Regional Security & Operations Manager
Period: July 2011 to December, 2012

• Overview
Reporting to the Managing Director of Aggreko for the Middle East, I had responsibility for all aspects of security and operational delivery in Aggreko ME, which included all projects, depots and staffing across all EMEA including Iraq, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Bahrain, Kuwait, Yemen, UAE , Russia and the London Olympics.
