Job Description

Duties:
- Implementing and maintaining the ship security plan and company’s SOP and policies.
- Safeguard the team, crew, vessel and cargo against any security threat at all times, both in ports and while sailing, according to prevailing laws and regulations
- Keep proper security awareness and vigilance according to designated shift / duty schedule
- Immediately respond with the whole sec. team to any incident on board and in the vessel surrounding, such as those of piracy, terrorism, drug smuggling / trafficking, robbery, stowaway attempt etc.
- Conduct ship security assessment and apply proper ship security measures, along with the rest of the security team
- Performing the day to day operations according to company SOP
- Conduct and participate in all security and safety drills
- Brief and train ship’s crew in security procedures to enhance ship security
- Report all security incidents and concerns to the Team Leader
- Ensure that the equipment bag is properly operated, tested, calibrated and maintained
- Each SG should not exceed the 12hr working shift per day.....
