Bedfordshire Police are now accepting applications for the Accelerated Detective Constable Programme (ADCP). Applicants are sought with a curious, inquiring mind, who think they have what it takes to be a Detective.

Applications submitted after the closing date will not be considered. If you are successful at the application stage, you will be invited to commence the online assessment and you will be sent joining instructions on 20th January 2021.

This is a new exciting opportunity for our Force and during the first year successful candidates will be required to complete the current intensive regular Police Officer training as well as the National Investigators Exam. Officers will then progress to receive specialist Detective training within an investigative environment.
