Wincanton are currently recruiting for 3.5t, 7.5t and Class 2 Drivers to join our award winning team at IKEA in Wembley.

The role will involve delivering products, completing up to 30 drops per day and providing excellent customer service as part of a two-person team.

 What you could be earning: 

• Porter £8.05 ph - £16,744 pa 3.5t
• Driver: £9.25 ph - £19,240 pa
• 7.5T Driver: £12.00 ph - £24,960 pa
• C2 Driver: £12.59 ph - £26,187.20 pa

If training is needed you can use your ELCAS!!! 

This is a permanent full-time role, with 40 hours per week. Any 5 out of 7 days, starting between 0500hrs-0600hrs.

In this role you will:

• Be passionate about providing an excellent customer experience to our customers in their homes
• Work efficiently to tight deadlines to ensure customer satisfaction targets and service targets are adhered to in line with our values and behaviours
• Keep in regular communication with both customers and colleagues to update on progress and manage expectations effectively
• Drive in a safe and responsible manner, as we value the communities we service
• Be physically able to carry furniture in our customers’ homes, taking care to protect their property and personal effects.
• Keep the vehicle you use clean, tidy and well cared for so it is ready to be used the next day. 

Experience and Qualifications:

• You must hold a valid driving licence, 7.5t licence or Class 2 licence
• You must have no more than 6 points on your licence
• Ideally you must hold a tacograph card for 7.5t and Class 2 roles
• Ideally you must hold a CPC licence for 7.5t and Class 2 roles – Training via ELCAS supported
• Passionate about delivering excellence 
• Confident, engaging, polite and friendly
• Understanding, calm, professional and a team player
• Be smartly presented at all times
• You must have excellent customer service skills and be detail focused
• Be flexible in relation to shifts and duties
• Be able to provide a time critical delivery service in line with targets agreed with customer     
• Previous retail and commercial driving experience is desirable
• Multi-drop experience is desirable
• A DBS will be undertaken in this role.​
