Palletways HGV Driver Experience Day for the Armed Forces Community

 

If you are thinking about a career in driving then look no further than this superb event with Palletways.

Join Palletways at their Lichfield Distribution Depot on 20th August and find out what its like to join Palletways as a HGV driver. You DO NOT need a HGV license to take part in these events.

There will be time slots on the day for those wishing to drive the test vehicle and you are required to book your time slot. This event includes a Test Drive in a HGV vehicle and a simulator experience as well as support exhibitors listed below to get you started on a great craeer that delivers!

EVENT LOCATION: Fradley Distribution Centre, Parkwood End Lane, Lichfield, WS13 8NE

Event information:

• Individuals booking the HGV Driver Experience will require a full driving license and have no drink driving offences. Individuals DO NOT need to have a HGV/LGV license to get behind the wheel on the practice course on either day.

 

• The RHA is the Road Haulage Association and they will be bringing along their driver simulator technology for attendees to virtually experience realistic road conditions when driving an HGV. This means attendees will benefit from a 20 minute session behind the wheel and also have the opportunity to virtually experience real-life driving conditions for HGVs. They will be on hand to support the Armed Forces community with any questions surrounding pathways into logistics or HGV driving specifically.

 

• The British HGV Training Group will be exhibiting/acting as a POC for any HGV licensing or training questions.

 

• We are asking attendees to book a 20-minute HGV driver experience slot. This will save you from waiting around all day.

 

• Attendees will need to will have the opportunity to meet everyone including the organisations above and will be able to ask questions regarding a career in HGV driving and logistics with Palletways. 

 

• The HGV Driver Experience will be on an artic HGV, not a rigid HGV..
