About this course:

Members of the Armed Forces and Service leavers can take advantage of their Enhanced Learning Credits (ELC)

This course enables people to manage workplace health and safety risks effectively. A NEBOSH General Certificate will provide sufficient understanding of fundamental health and safety risks and methods of applying health and safety law. It is the most widely held health and safety qualification in the UK.

NEBOSH qualifications are globally recognised by employers in all industry sectors. Holding a range of qualifications in health and safety can be an advantage in today's job market.

We currently offer this training across the UK at any of our centres or on an in-house basis nationwide.

Learning Outcomes:

• Understand the key legal elements of a health and safety policy

• Advise on methods of controlling workplace hazards and risks

• Apply safe systems of work, reporting and effective communication

• Identify ill health and safety risks and management solutions

• Explain and deploy the process of reporting and investigating accidents in the workplace

The following exams are completed during the course:

• NGC1 – Examination paper (120 mins)
• GC2 – Examination paper (120 mins)
• GC3 – Practical test - a basic workplace safety inspection and preparation of a report following the inspection (you have up to 2-weeks to complete this report after the course has finished)......
